The project was the refurbishment of Ellis Ward, The Lilacs
a 23-bed mixed gender, adult acute mental health ward at
Tolworth Hospital.
The work involved some demolition, alterations and
remodelling to ensure that all bedrooms had ensuite
bathrooms. This also meant replacement of the entire flat
roof of the ward building, full reprovision of mechanical
and electrical systems, data, CCTV and the installation of a
new heat exchange system. New floor and ceiling finishes,
anti-ligature fittings and furniture and redecoration
throughout completed the project as well as external works
to the garden, building cladding and fencing.

Testimonial
This is the first time that I have worked with Storm and throughout I have found them to be professional and approachable. Their site management and control of all works on site was excellent and ensured that the project was delivered to time and budget whilst happy to make the effort to achieve a high standard of finish with minimum disruption for the Trust.
Communication was clear from the Storm team throughout the
project, allowing challenges to be discussed and resolved swiftly
and to everyone’s satisfaction.
The handover process was planned and executed with precision,
allowing the clients team to engage with the project and accept
ownership from practical completion without issue.
