The works comprised of the refurbishment and extension to Cumbria Villa to create a new 15 bed ward including new build extension minor demolition and alterations, new drainage, creation of ensuite rooms, replacement of all mechanical and electrical systems and associated works.

The work undertaken by Storm to open-up Cumbria Villa providing modern ensuite bedrooms, relaxed colour tones and contemporary furniture design supported those Trusts goals. The new ward design improves staff and patient safety and supports positive patient experiences with features such as a lounge room style common area, and access to an external soft exercise area.
