The work comprised adaptation and refurbishment including new partitions, door openings, mechanical and electrical installations, flooring and decorative finishes to the existing Medical Records Department and other adjacent areas on the ground floor of B Block at St Helier Hospital, Carshalton to form a new the Ophthalmology Unit.

This work was undertaken in a live environment where B & C Blocks remained occupied throughout the project with the adjacent departments containing the ITU and HDU Units so good levels of communication were essential prior to work commencing and during the construction phase.

Testimonial

We have engaged Storm on several projects in recent years through the open tendering process and have found them to be professional, approachable and cooperative.

Their staff are well managed, working well within the live hospital environments with a desire to achieve a good finish with least disruption to services and I have no hesitation in inviting Storm to tender for further capital work at the Trust.
