This project involved the Design and Build of 12 new homes in Cyril Hawkins Way on what was once a brown-field site in North Weald Bassett, Epping, located on land to the rear of a row of existing houses and bordered by an active public allotment site on two sides.

The project involved the demolition of derelict garages including asbestos removal, ground works and significant piling and concreting works leading to a multiple dwelling construction of these 12 two storey dwellings laid out as three terraces of four properties in a linear row.

The properties have dual pitched roofs and solar panels provides 2 x two bedroom and 10 three bedroom traditionally constructed affordable dwellings with 34 off-street parking spaces.

Testimonial

AD Architects were pleased to have worked with Storm Building Ltd in the delivery of this affordable housing development in Cyril Hawkins Close for Epping Forest District Council modelled in 3D using Revit to provide a BIM Level 2 service. We are impressed with their professional approach, attention to detail and the standard of workmanship which has been achieved. This is not the first time that we have worked with Storm Building Ltd, and we would be more than happy to collaborate with them on future projects.
