STORM PROJECT WINS PRESTIGIOUS HEALTHCARE AWARD

November 2014

Storm recently completed a major refurbishment contract at Hillingdon Hospital, the innovative scheme was submitted for a prestigious healthcare award and became Winner of Best Internal Environment at the Building Better Healthcare Awards 2014.

The judges said: "This is an example; a very comprehensive ward refurbishment to meet the needs of frail elderly people and those with dementia. We particularly like the use of colour and art to help with wayfinding, the provision of social space for patients and relatives, and the way the design has thoughtfully connected the internal and external environments."

Naturally, Storm are very proud of this scheme and wish to extend our thanks to the staff at Hillingdon Hospital and of course the consultants and all who worked on this key project.
